For the past 30 years,
In this societal infrastructure
Passing bills, reigniting old flames,
The course of history has regained
Some semblance of a unique identity.
For the inferiority complex,
My own unique ties
To lightning bolts
Streaking nude beneath
A deserted and Godless sky,
My lips spread.
And as I gasp for air,
All monogamy ceases
To adhere to the rules of marriage
