Mission House

Mad at three,
Without any rhyme or reason
For wanting to be,
In union with what seems
A paralysis of lovers’ meat.

I wandered into the station
At half past three,
Unable to concentrate
On anything.

This foul consciousness of mine,
Won’t eat, won’t light the fire,
Just begs to be let go
Into a wisp of smoke.
