Palm Sunday

“Hosanna,”
Never in a million years
Had I proclaimed this factor
To my own detriment,

Millennial child,
Beaten by a harsh wind,
Remaining calm through a storm
Which sees his kaleidoscopic
Vision burst.

My institution fell
Into the great destructive wind,
And my malicious intentions
Fell apart.

Because of the love
Of one woman,
They shattered
And in the refrain of angels,

A percolating past
Refused to bar the way.
