Creatures of the Mountains

Do you deny
A rightful place
And throne;
Keep company with

And Recreation.

The chirping beneath the trees;

Who cures the sick,
And give sight to the blind;
Causes a remission of sin.

Draws into Him
The heartless and the wretched,
The biologically impure.

The sinner
Will dine with Him,
And devour much good flesh.

The whore
Will find in Him
The comforts of childhood.

And I,
A thirsty and lonely

Will go before you
To prepare for us
A shelter for the coming storm.
